Our partners at Greenville Recreation & Parks have launched their mobile recreation unit, designed to bring recreational activities to areas that are not well served by Greenville Rec & Parks Community Centers. Many of these communities are also NC CIVIL’s communities of focus. The mobile recreation trailer is filled with portable games and play equipment to promote and provide positive youth activities and family fun – an extremely important part of community building.
For these events, NC CIVIL volunteers are asked to show up and assist with set-up, support youth play, help supervise play stations, and assist with event breakdown. Smiles and positive energy are also a major need to make these days in the community a success.
To receive instructions, volunteers MUST arrive prior to start time. Dress comfortably and respectfully. No smoking onsite.
